The World's First Bodybuilding Competition

 The World's First Bodybuilding Competition.

The world's first bodybuilding competition called "The Great Show" was held in 1901 at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Founded in 1891, this competition is entirely the brainchild of Eugene Sandow, who is considered the father of modern bodybuilding. At that time he was extremely popular and in very good shape, but he did not participate in this competition due to the organization of the competition.

Here in judging the competition,

-      Muscle growth commensurate with height
-      Muscle uniformity and growth
-      Muscle tone and shape
-      Healthiness
-      Skin condition

Matters have been considered. William L. Murray, who competed in this competition from Nottingham, England, won the competition and won the honor of winning the world's first organized bodybuilding competition.

The world's first bodybuilding magazine

By the 20th century, Bernard Macfadden, who was considered the father of the promotion of physical culture, published the first bodybuilding and fitness magazine, called Physical Culture, in 1921. Many critics call this the most successful magazine of its time. As well as his development in the field of bodybuilding and fitness

A great mission was also accomplished to bring forward the player named Charles Atlas, who was very popular at this time. Similarly, he popularized a device called "chest expander". Similarly, by 1920, barbells, dumbbells and other exercise equipment began to be sold.
